Day 1 Cochin Arrival- Cochin sightseeing tour- Munnar (by car-110 kms/ 03 hrs)

Activities on the first day of Kerala Honeymoon Tour are dependent on the presumption that arrival at Cochin by flight or train is either late morning or early noon. On arrival at Cochin, our representative will greet you and introduce you with Cochin tour guide and Kerala tour driver. Along with Cochin tour guide, move for Cochin sightseeing. Cochin, which in the past used to be the main gateway to South India for foreign visitors, offers many places of interest to tourists. It also gives easy access to almost all tourist places in Kerala since it is well connected by air, road and rail to all the major places. The merging of the backwaters with the sea here gives a host of opportunities for exciting and enjoyable boating and rafting. The ride through the lagoons in Kerala-style houseboats is also an unforgettable experience. Cochin, regarded as commercial capital of Kerala, is one of the best natural harbours of the world. Situated on the mouth of the Arabian Sea, this is one of the best natural harbours in the world and a great place witnessing major trading to and from the area. Cochin sightseeing tour includes several historical monuments, places and objects like the Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Chinese fishing nets, spice market etc. Late afternoon, you will be driven to Munnar, the best hill station of Kerala. A trip to Munnar from Cochin is a travel through the green blankets of nature on both sides of the road with spice, cardamom and tea plantations spread on a vast stretch of land. Day 2 Munnar sightseeing tour

Kerala is renowned for its nature tourism. Mostly nature tourism of Kerala is identified with backwaters and beaches. Travel to Munnar will definitely smash this myth and add another exotic aspect- Kerala is endowed with pleasant greenery all around. Munnar, also known as The Kashmir of the South, is without doubt the most beautiful place in Kerala. Located 5,250 ft. above sea level, this place was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. The lush green hills and mountains here adorned by tea and coffee plantations are a sight to behold. Being in Munnar, in the midst of thick mist and surrounded by the plantations is indeed a heavenly feeling even as the surrounding hills present a spectacular view. There are also numerous waterfalls and trekking paths for the adventurous traveler. The Indo-Swiss dairy farm project, and the lake and dam there are other sights to look forward to in Munnar.

Second day of Kerala Honeymoon Tour is scheduled for leisurely enjoyable sightseeing. Having relished delicious breakfast in relaxed morning hours, proceed visit prominent attractions of Munnar, namely, Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, Eco-Point, old Munnar town, and Tata Tea Museum. Eravikulam National Park is known for endangered mountain goat Nilgiri Tahr. Day 3 Munnar- Alleppey (by car-170 kms/ 04 hrs)

Kovalam has three picturesque beaches that wholly satiate a visitor. The beaches are ‘curve shaped’, set amidst rocks in the hinterland which are precipitously mounting headlands and covered by fertile coconut palms and offer exquisite views of the sea. Day 5 Kovalam beach relaxation- Trivendrum sightseeing-Kovalam

Have relaxed breakfast in Kovalam hotel and relax on the serene beach of Kovalam till noon. The morning and noon hours have been kept free for leisure. You can avail rejuvenation therapy of Ayurvedic massage.

After beach relaxation, during early afternoon, proceed for sightseeing of famous monuments of Trivandrum (Thiruananthapuram). Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) is a ‘must see destination’ for every tourist visiting Kerala because it offers a multitude of places of interest. Kovalam, one of the finest beaches in the whole of India is nearby. Another wonderful beach and pilgrimage centre, Varkala is also easily accessible by road. Kanyakumari, the place where one can behold both the sun rise and the sun set at the same time is in close proximity to Trivandrum.

The sightseeing city tour of Trivandrum will encompass visit of Padmanabha Swami Temple and Nappier Museum. The Padmanabhaswamy temple, also knownas the Sri Padmanabhaswamy temple , is a famous Hindu temple of Lord Vishnu, located inside the Fort in the city of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. The temple is one of the 108 divya desam, the holiest abodes of Lord Vishnu. The main deity, Padmanabhaswamy, is a form of Vishnu in Anananthasayanam posture (in eternal sleep of yognidra).This is an ancient temple and the city of Thiruvananthapuram derives its name from the name of the presiding deity enshrined in the temple. Napier Museum was established in 1855. In 1874, the old Museum Building was demolished and foundation for the new building was laid. The new building was named after Lord Napier, the Governor of Madras from 1866-1872.

Early in the evening, return to Kovalam hotel to relax and spend night in the hotel.

Day 6 Kovalam – Trivendrum (13 kms) –Departure

Have relaxed breakfast in Kovalam hotel, spend morning hours on serene beach of Kovalam. Later, early noon, you will be transferred to Trivendrum airport to board flight for your onward destination.


Cochin is also termed as Kochi. Cochin is a fabulous city, culturally rich and commercially vibrant. It is divided into two parts – Ernakulum and Kochi. Come into Cochin to visit Kochi. Kochi is aptly termed as Queen of the Arabian Sea, being the finest natural harbor in the world. Enjoy Kochi with ferry rides commanding its breathtaking view as you cruise around man-made islands with lush green lawns sloping down to the water's edge. These ferries offer luxurious environment on board. Aboard, you can relax with a drink watching the Arab dhows in the foreground, and behind, the tree shaded buildings of the families who sold gold, ivory, timber and peacock to King Solomon, 19 centuries ago. Pleasant ambience, simple people, delicious cuisines, rich past, giant Chinese fishing nets that billow from massive teak and bamboo poles dot the entrance to the harbor. Munnar is a tiny green paradise teetering on Anamudi – the highest mountain peak of South India, 1549 mteres above sea level. Munnar meaning 'three rivers' is situated at the confluence of three mountain hill streams and a delightful hill station of Kerala and South India. Sprawling tea plantations with trekking paths running through and further leading up to breath-taking waterfalls make it a place worth visiting while on Kerala tour. Far from the maddening crowd, Munnar offers an ideal retreat. Munnar is easily accessible from Cochin. Thiruananthapuram is also known as Trivendrum. The sprawling capital city of Kerala State, 219 kms from Cochin (Kochi) with several of its building overlooking peaceful valleys, Thiruanantapuram is situated at the south-western tip of India. The city, built across seven hills, still retains its regal ambience with a number of colonial and traditional buildings. Ancient Padmanabhaswami Temple, built in a Dravidian architectural style is an important city landmark. Thiruvananthapuram, capital of Kerala, is a beautiful sea-side city built on 7 hills, which had past trade links with many countries outside India. The name is derived from Tiru Anantha Puram, meaning the city of Anantha, referring to Vishnu as Padmanabhswamy. It is also known as the Holy City of Anantha. Marthand Varma, the most famous king of Travancore, dedicated the entire state to the deity and became the Padmanabha Das or the Servant of Lord Padmanabha. The city once formed a part of the erstwhile Travancore state which had its capital at Padmanabhapuram. The present capital city is well located with spacious avenues with several parks.
